Alarm over rise in non-smokers vaping in England
A recent study reveals that around one million adults in England now vape despite never having been regular smokers, marking a sevenfold increase since 2021. Most of these vapers are daily users, with young adults aged 18 to 24 accounting for a significant portion. Experts express concern about this trend and suggest stricter regulations on vaping products to address the issue, especially as disposable e-cigarettes gain popularity. The findings were published in Lancet Public Health.
