Israel has ramped up its airstrikes on Lebanon, targeting southern Beirut and cutting off key crossings into Syria. In a bid to dismantle Hezbollah's military capabilities, Israeli forces struck Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters and several strategic locations near the Lebanon-Syria border, including the Masnaa border crossing. This has blocked thousands of people attempting to flee the bombardment. The strikes are part of Israel's wider offensive, aimed at curbing Hezbollah's influence and preventing weapon smuggling from Iran through Syria.

The Israeli military claims to have killed over 100 Hezbollah fighters within 24 hours and has launched over 2,000 strikes on military targets, while Hezbollah continues to fire rockets into Israel. The conflict has led to the displacement of over 1.2 million Lebanese civilians, with many seeking refuge in Syria, adding to the humanitarian crisis.

The situation continues to escalate as Israel intensifies its campaign, and Hezbollah retaliates with further rocket fire
